Hello, I’m Maria!
My story begins with the immense desire I have to travel constantly and see the world. Since I was very young that I’ve liked to know new places and I have always enjoyed walking and traveling with my parents. Although at the time I did not do any research on the places where we passed. The only thing was a map in the hand and not much more than that. After the trip I always liked writing and making “essays” about what I saw and had learned.
I confess that I was never good at geography, or even history, and there were subjects that had little interest to me because of how much study they entailed, but if it were today I would have the maximum grade in these classes because I’m always researching new destinations and the history of each country and city where I want to pass (I always sketch a guide, even if it’s a one-day tour, or a few hours, or a city right next door – I need to always be prepared for what I’m going to visit).
Traveling is one of the few things where you spend money on but leaves you wealthier.
And probably the best one!
I always like to know new and interesting things about the places I go to and I do intensive research on the most diverse destinations. I often find that I do too much research, but then I realize that nothing is ever too much for my guides. Each one is made with as much information as possible. All the knowledge can be essential for the trip to be a success and helps to be prepared for anything that may happen – of course the unforeseen happens, but that’s just what unforeseen means!

Even with all the work I have – and it takes – to prepare a trip, in the end I feel that I have a lot of fun discovering everything (or almost everything) that the destination has to offer and everything (or almost everything) that I can do while I’m there. My research starts with the most well-known places, to the places that can be a surprise or a “well kept” secret of the destination. And I do not rest until I know “everything”, even if sometimes I think I have too much on my guide. But when I get to the place, it is as if I had already been there, and as if I knew the city like the back of my hand.
Now the time has come to share with others all this knowledge that I have gained over the years. To share all the research and investigation I do for myself. To share with those who don’t know where to start; or who know, but do not have time to do so; or just don’t have the patience to compile the information they find into topics. Share with others all the Love and Care that I put in my itineraries, so that your trips are also a success!
